Café86SA Wellness Festival

August 22, 2026  II 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM II Plaza de Sueños, San Antonio

Together We Heal, Together We Grow

We warmly invite you to the Café86SA Wellness Festival, presented through our Plated Forward SA initiative in partnership with Jamilina Wellness and The Mission Kitchen. This community gathering is rooted in a simple belief: your health is your wealth, and healing happens best together.

What to Expect

Guided by the theme “Lifestyle Optimization: From Awareness to Action,” this day brings our community, hospitality workers, and wellness advocates together to learn, experience, and connect across the six pillars of wellbeing — emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, occupational, and social.

Through expert talks, breathwork and sound healing, live demonstrations, and genuine connection, our purpose is to empower every person who attends with practical tools for prevention and whole-person health. All proceeds support Café86SA's free community counseling programs.

Why It Matters

The festival arrives at a critical moment. A 2025 Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health study found that nearly 1 in 10 U.S. adults (8.9%) reported experiencing a mental health crisis in the past year, with young adults ages 18–29 hit hardest at 15.1%. Alongside CDC data showing suicide and drug overdose remain among the leading causes of death in the U.S., the need has never been clearer. This festival was created to meet that need — empowering our community with practical, preventive tools for mental and whole-person health
